Biography
Emmett Cahill was born and raised in Towson, Maryland and attended the University of Maryland from 2010 – 2014. As a Terrapin, Mr. Cahill achieved great success as a defensemen for the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse Team where he attended three “final four” NCAA tournaments (including two NCAA championships).
After graduating in 2014, Mr. Cahill was employed by Under Armour Inc and then the Major League Baseball Players Association in New York City. Cahill assists the brokerage team on new requirements and existing client relationship matters. Outside of the office, Emmett coaches club and varsity high school lacrosse for RC and The Bishops School in La Jolla, respectively. He enjoys hanging out with his golden retriever “Boh” and stays active by boxing, playing lacrosse, and playing basketball.
Emmett has been selected to play semi-professional box lacrosse for the San Diego Whalers and is also a member of the Wimmer Solutions lacrosse team that travels to Hawaii to play for charity on an annual basis. He sits on the advisory board of “The Well”, which is a non-profit that focuses on helping women who have undergone traumatic life situations. He is currently a member of the San Diego Business Networking Group and is a member of the Young Leaders Association in the Urban Land Institute of San Diego.
