Property Information
Home to Old Harbor Distilling Company, 270 17th Street is a 7,500 SF warehouse in the East Village near Petco Park with excellent access to the I-5 Freeway and the CA-94. The building features two large roll up doors, fourteen skylights, 18’ ceilings and an open floor plan. Michael Skubic opened the very first distillery to be proposed within downtown city limits. Old Harbor produces whiskey, gin, coffee liquor and other spirits through imported distilling equipment, custom built by German-based Kothe Distilling Technologies. Skubic and his team improved the property with a new fermentation and distillation area, bottling station, wooden barrel and grain storage, offices, and an entry tasting room. Other improvements included extensive electrical and plumbing work, new stairwell and entry ramp, new thicken slabs under distilling equipment, restroom remodel, and installation of new hvac and exhaust systems.
